It will be given by Ms. Ines Ziat and Ms. Heting Xu, responsible for the Pro Bono Program of Canada (EPBC) University of Montreal Chapter, and co-leader of the Family Law Project. This conference will be held on Wednesday, February 9th from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This conference will explain the judicial process in family law by going through the 5 main steps of the civil procedure, i.e. the filing of the claim, the exchanges between the parties, the alternative dispute resolution methods, the hearing and the judgment. To conclude, we will explain the specificities of family law trials.
